About the Space

Our backyard and deck are perfect for a wedding, concert or big celebration. We have numerous outdoor games: Cornhole, MegaJenga, MegaConnect4, darts, horseshoes, Sandy Pickle (Pickleball meets volleyball), etc. You name it, we probably have it and the games are fun for all ages.

We built this fun vibe for our wedding and things we love to do in the beautiful Arizona outdoors. We have an on location remodeled RV with full hookups for use as a powder room, changing room, kids play area etc. (our RV can be moved if you BYOR).

Previous successful events include weddings, kids birthday parties, 50th birthday parties, Cristenings, and we have had ~10 concerts with DJ’s and bands. PlayYard is almost full service available in the band or music department with lighting and equipment. Bands can book for concerts on the weekends as we have minimal neighbors yet are in the heart of midtown.

    • Outdoor Fridge (2 ft): Perfect for storing food, desserts, or chilled drinks the night before.
    • Rolling Ice Chest (3.5 ft): Keep your beverages icy cold.
    • Outdoor Cantina: Set up for bar services (bartender not included).
    • Dance Floor & PA System: Spacious dance floor with a minimal setup fee for our full sound system (up to 4 speakers included at no extra cost). Convenient outlets are available on the deck.
    • Shade Solutions: Three outdoor yard umbrellas for your guests' comfort.
    • Customizable Seating Options:
      - Head Table (8x4 ft): Beautiful all-wood design.
      - Four folding tables (6x2 ft each) for versatile seating arrangements.
      - Four wood wire reel tables (approx. 4 ft in diameter).
    • Fire Pits: Experience cozy evenings with a gas outdoor fire pit and a wood fire pit.
    • Relaxation Areas: Enjoy yard chairs, a patio swing, a poker table, and a charming 2-person hammock in the smoking section.

  • Parking

    • On-site parking for up to 15 vehicles, ensuring your guests arrive without hassle.
    • Special marked parking spaces can be customized for your event.
    • We strongly encourage the use of ride shares. For safe access and to keep the city street from being overcrowded.

  • Kitchen Access

    • Limited access is granted to pre-approved individuals or those designated by the host.
    • An oven is available to keep your catered dishes warm (please prep off-site).
    • Floral arrangements should be designed before arrival. Or done outside and trimmings properly disposed of.

  • Restroom Facilities

    • Convenient restrooms are available on-site but outside the main home.
    • Unique facilities feature a men's urinal and women's restroom, situated right by the reception entrance.

  • Most yard amenities are adjustable. Please inform your host about any desired arrangements for fire pits and reel tables. Moving the Cantina or planters requires host authorization.
